How Did It Start?

With my passion and my skills, I would not let these things stop from what it had ended. I'm going to continue their growth to harvest the fruit that bore through the hard work I planted and cultivated. I want to learn and explore more, beyond my knowledge and experiences.Ezar Co

Ezar Henry Co started to work as a stage designer during his high school at United Evangelical Church School (內湖中華基督教會學校). As he graduated from his high school, he took and completed his Bachelor's Degree of Arts in Production Design at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. How did he really began and get involved in designing?

The story behind his interest in theater, at his young age of three, he started to act as one of the dwarfs from the play of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and at the age of nine, he was part of the choruses in the play of Bathalang Laor. At the age of twelve, he joined and tried hand miming. However, while growing up, he gradually perceived the deficiency of confidence until he found his comfort and decided to work on backstage. He started to design a stage, his very first, during his high school in a school event and began to continue his interests when he entered college, taking production design and embark himself in an organization, from the set department and shifted to costume department to explore and learn more about costumes. Furthermore, he grasped his fond and engaged in both set and costume.

He applied internship in lots of productions and television shows such as ABS-CBN's "Magandang Buhay", "Minute to Win It", "It's Showtime", "I Can Do That" and "ASAP Birit Queens Concert", Atlantis Theatrical's "Kinky Boots" and "Matilda", Repertory Philippines' "Beauty and the Beast" and "A Comedy of Tenors", and Resorts World's/Full House Theater Company's "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang."

He also worked and been part of ABS-CBN's "Maalaala Mo Kaya: Portrait episode", Repertory Philippines' "Silent Sky" and "Rapunzel! Rapunzel! A Very Hairy Fairytale."

As his journey continues, he keeps these inspirations and progressively catching up his goals while taking long roads just to find the never ending success.
